Hurricaine Matthew wrecked (literally) our original plans for Edisto Island, SC -- so we scrambled and were able to swiftly set up Orlando/Kissimmee instead with just two weeks notice.

Once again we saw several Florida specialties -- Limpkin, Crested Caracara, Sandhill Crane, Purple Gallinule -- in the four full days we were there. The weather was for the most part good -- we were able to get out every day -- and yes, there were no days where we did not see the sun in the Sunshine State. Temps reached into the 80s each day -- a tad higher than expected and than we would have liked.
